I noticed that the Jim Davidson thread has been locked. This surprised me as reading the remaining posts (I'm not sure if any inflammatory posts have been removed) there seems to be no hint of libellous posts. Webby usually gives a reason for why a thread has been locked, any info John?

I suspect it's become Mr Drake's life is too short to be spent in fear of somebody saying something they shouldn't.

I can see John's point but it does seem hard to discuss stuff that are even in the general news. But I do see where he is coming from.

Plus, my own personal view is that it is better to wait to see if a person who has been arrested is charged and found guilty of anything by a court using real evidence, before passing damning comments about them online and assuming guilt before any trial has taken place. I'm guess I'm just old fashioned like that.
