I'm guessing the NRL authorised agency dealing with this are exploring every possible avenue to maximise income. Surely if Premier Sports don't get it then someone else will. I just hope it's a channel I can get via satellite.
I much prefer to watch the game on TV than via computer, and we aren't cabled up where I live.My first choice is Premier Sports as I can't see any other TV channel showing as many games per round as we were treated to last season.

I see one of Storm's pre season outings is at Gosch's Paddock, Melbourne.

Is it just open parkland with a pitch marked out on a flat area or is there some sort of stadium there too?

It's a training field, no stands or anything.

A better view of Goschs Paddock for you
It's public domain parkland that has developed into two main playing / training surfaces.
The one bordered by Aami Park & Swan St being used by Melbourne Storm / Rebels / Victory
The one bordered by Punt Rd & the Monash off ramp used by Collingwood AFL / Melbourne AFL
Lots of schools, etc also use the area for games / training
The Storm's family day has been held there the last few seasons
I think this is the first time it's been used for a pre season trial ? Trial against Brisbane East has previously been in Brisbane.

And my first ,(& personal best), memory of Gochs Paddock ? Standing in it watching the 1999 Grand Final on a giant screen & after a later dash to the airport to meet the team returning to spent till the hours of the morning celebrating with team & other stormies B)

Pretty obvious,it would generally make Super League look second rate, though you don`t always have to have top players for it to be a great contest. End to end footy is always worth watching no matter what the grade.

I'm happy to oblige assuming there's as much interest as in the previous years. :)

Not long now before R1 kicks off in Sydney this Thursday night.
That means of course that kick off will be on Thursday morning in UK time. Currently Sydney is 11 hours in front of UK time.
I make it then that the Kick off in the first game, Roosters v Rabbitohs, is 9:05am this Thursday in the UK.
TV coverage here of this game is delayed by about an hour and a half.
