as far as i can see, there is no mention of land in the statements of either the ceo or commercial manager, so why all the fuss about it. worry about it if and when the time comes
Exactly Oldrover, nothing a been mentioned at all, so people need to stop jumping to conclusions

I was talking to my neice over Christmas, she still lives in Featherstone but has no interest in the Rovers or sport in general. She told me that loads of new homes are to be built in the town. She mentioned the site of the,old Pit Estate, and the land adjacent to the footpath that leads from the Junction, through the old allotments up to the ground. If the old allotments were passed for building, then the land at the back of the family stand might be next? Could it be a case of folk putting two and two together and speculating on the reasons behind it all?

Steve, there are plans for the old pit estate, and also plans to build on the allotment site at back of Vicarage Lane, I've seen the plans etc and this will be built in phases. I think people are panicking on this and just making assumptions on the reason why Fiesal is backing Rovers to the tune of a 7 figure sum, when I honestly believe all he is doing is taking a genuine interest in our forward thinking club and its enthusiasm and vision.

Maybe getting Rovers promoted would look good on his CV?
Thats 2 possibilties that dont involve the land.
Ive noticed that hes also started sponsoring Blackburn Rovers and ‘proud to sponsor his home town team‘.
Cummins Out.

He might like all things Rovers, so it could be Tranmere Rovers and Hull Kingston Rovers next

no Apparantly, your are an idiot, and a very annoying one, you along with another idiot are the sole reasons people use facebook now for Rovers info. people should just ignore the utter rubbish you type. So, can they sell the land for Featherstone Rovers and build some houses for themselves ?
Just asking, like. I'm an idiot, apparently, so I don't know ......
Its a good job Mark Cambell is running the club instead of certain people contributing to this thread because i fear they would struggle to run a bath after reading it. It has nothing to do with our land or anyother land on terra firma for gods sake

Richie I will be the first to admit I get things wrong and so do other people. But these forums are for rumours you hear or debates etc. I heard a rumour and posted it on here and mo told me it wasn't true and that's how it should be. Rumours should be posted to be rectified or confirmed which ever is the case then people know what's going on. I like the way our forum is run an used by Fev fans as we get to know things etc. But everything anyone posts you either jump down their throats because they got it wrong or you have a answer for everything. If people get things wrong so what it's part of life and learning etc. You always have an answer for everything and you always are right even when your wrong in your frame of mind.

Does that not suggest that he will be purchasing 'B' shares? If he has the majority then he elects the board as he can ratify or decline any application by voting for or against. Food for thought?

no different to when steve lingard was chairman Colin, and to be frank, if i was putting all the money in, i would want all the say.Ok So land is not an issue. On the Official Rovers page it says that he is to become a significant shareholder.

Colin, in my humble opinion you are looking for obstacles which in my mind at the moment are not there, lets just sit tight and enjoy the benefits what will come our way.

Lets sit back relax and see what as been agreed. Nothing can be worse than being back to where we were because the club was slowly dying.
