Guys what,s up with you all.

Regardless if he invests 10P or millions in Fev the man has spent a small fortune on RL over the last couple of seasons with Fax/Cas and Rovers + he sponsored the WCC a couple of seasons ago as well as a small sponsorship with Wigan.

The man has obviously caught the RL bug as there is no-way there is really any commercial benefit to his business in sponsoring RL,i only wish there were more like him out there at the moment.

CM

Point 1 - After sponsoring the WCC why do you think there was no further dealings between the RFL and Feisal? He put himself in the shop window hoping to be the next big sponsor of RL in this country. Just like the Cas board, they saw sense and stayed clear.

Point 2 - Probiz didn't pay their ground naming rights from last year but I'm unclear as to if this has now been sorted or not

Point 3 - it's amazing how a small group of village idiots can turn somebody against a club in such a short period of time. Bitter "carpet carriers" the lot of them
Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.

I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try

Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

So, what I said in the first place was true. Wakefield were not in the top division when SL started. The game playing on the renaming of the 2nd division as the first division regardless. I'm not slagging anybody off. The thread was about Fev and their removal from the top division and it was mentioned by me that Wakefield were not in the top division at the time. I mistakenly called it Div 1, mea culpa, I meant the top Division of the game. I think that was obvious. The oposter was just playing semantics with the naming of the divisions. My point stands. The whole thing is shooting off at a tangent irrelevant to the subject of the thread. Furthermore, I dont' care what ypu appeciate, you are not in charge of editing my posts.

Wakefield were in the top division when SL started just like fev & widnes then took us 3 years to get back up

John, on the thread about our ground upgrades you posted something along the lines of 'what is the point in doing it' meaning you will never get into SL.

You are far too sensitive and defensive.

I asked the question to give you an opportunity to explain all the good things this means for your club, your team and the game as a whole.

I reckoned that if you could not explain why, then no one could. At one point, you almost got it, but have suffered a relapse.

Rugby league has suffered far too long from an inability to articulate what is good about it. For Rovers to succeed at the highest level it has to do more than attract disaffected fans from other clubs..there is no net benefit to the game in doing this. It must attract new fans, new sponsors and new investors. Investors not donors. Investors want something back..a return. If committed fans such as you can't explain why someone should invest, then why expect us to understand. " because we were shafted" or " because Super-dooper is immoral" are not sufficient arguments .

I trust that this new investment does happen and that it delivers what everyone has worked for.

I can't believe how anything saying anything but the party line immediately means that you hate Fev, even praise is taken as abuse if its not offered by one of their own.

It's amazing how anyone who classes themselves as intelligent can be turned against a club by people who THEY class as village idiots.

Presumably a sponsorship deal constitutes a contract between TWO parties and each has to abide by the terms of the negotiated agreement.

That is correct Terry and the reason why Cas have Ben chasing payment, in fact I know a certain official at Fev has been instrumental in getting both parties round the table.

There's probably been a significant dispute or misunderstanding between the two parties then Kenny. Hopefully it will be resolved to the satisfaction of each.

Roll on the new season. Then perhaps we can start to discuss matches, rather than all the off field stuff. Is it important? Yes. Is it anywhere near as interesting as the actual game? No!

Wakefield were in the same boat as Fev. If your point applies to Fev it applies to Wakefield.

Re Point 1 if the RFL see him as not to be trusted/dodgy (or whatever term you want to use) how come the RFL haven't warned clubs to stay clear or even banned him from involvement? Given the recent debacles at Barrow/Celtic C you'd have hought they'd be keen not to have another mess on their hands.

Point 2 - if he didn't pay why did Cas continue to use the name 'Probiz Stadium' and give him free publicity?

Point 3 - of course as you're a 'truer' fan than the rest of us mere mortals you support the whole game......
