But why would the RFL advise this when they don't want clubs like Featherstone in SL - or so we keep getting told!
People are just making things up to suit their argument.
It seems to me that the Featherstone of today and especially tomorrow if this investor comes on board, bear little or no comparison with the Featherstone who were in deep trouble in CC1 a few years ago. That Featherstone had zero chance of SL
Today the club have ticked so many boxes, ground, team, juniors, finance, even improving crowds that they are becoming impossible to ignore. They seriously compare with London and Castleford and maybe Salford and Widnes and not even the ring fenced barons of SL can any longer ignore the clamour at the gate.
