A very good month (excluding mine, obviously!). Voted for five of them.
Cheer up, RL is actually rather good

There are some good pics to choose from. As I'm fairly new to the photography threads I do have a question though - is it normal to be able to vote for more than one of the entrants as the best?

i think you can pick just two, that has been the norm, no voting for yourself though ;)

What does it mean
This tearjerking scene
Beamed into my home
That it moves me so much
Why all the fuss
It's only two humans being.

I need to, no one else is

Voting for two doesn't seem quite so odd, I just wondered after the earlier comment about voting for 5.

You can vote for as many as you like, unfortunately its either a selection of 1 vote or as many as you like.

We did use the 1 vote option at first but people asked if we could allow more so we went for the as many as you like option.

Hopefully people use it sensibly, for when they can't genuinely decide between 1 or the other.

On a photography forum I frequent in their competitions they allow 3 votes, different forum software so the poll creator gets more options.

Some real crackers in there and i try to only vote once, not for any other reason that it really makes me think hard about my choice.

So Shrek for his creative idea and technically superb shot - can he make it a hat-trick!
Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.

I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try

Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

Usually try to vote for two, but had to make it three this time. Padge and Shreks are excellent as usual, but also liked GJ's.

I normally vote for two at most.

Three if I like mine a lot as well.

A very close run thing this month, Shrek denied a hat-trick by a late surge from Kenilworth Tiger (got my vote).

KT gets to pick the pics theme for Feb.

well, well, well - chuffed with that as there were some belters

For Feb let's go with (just for Gingerjon) "black and white"

That's not to say the pic needs to be taken in black and white of course - interpret the theme however you see fit

bah humbug I missed voting - looking forward to next month, yes I know it doesn't have to be taken in B&W, but I do love them the best

aye these young uns wouldn't believe the first colour telly I watched was at my dads Aunty Ediths 1971 - half of the family were there to watch Leigh 24 - 7 Leeds

Some old photos of me on twitter and fb - nearly all b& w

thought of you this morning when I nearly spat my tea over the keyboard when I saw the latest from the game caller "I'll never understand why journalists feel the need to cut corners. Compiling match reports from radio, tv, even dvd's and twitter"
