Halifax player Dane Manning has been suspended for two matches after being found guilty of the Grade B offence of sustained punching in a pre-season friendly against Keighley Cougars on Boxing Day. Manning did not have the option of submitting an Early Guilty Plea to the offence, which took place in the 46th minute.
Wakefield Trinity Wildcats player Justin Poore used an Early Guilty Plea to admit the Grade A offence of punching in a Boxing Day friendly against Leeds Rhinos. Poore, who was dismissed for the 18th-minute altercation with Ryan Bailey, escaped suspension but has lost the right to submit an Early Guilty Plea for the next 12 months.

Poore should have been commended for punching Bailey rather than being punished for it!
