If I was writing a $uperleague bid for Featherstone, that isn't a "fact" that I'd want to emphasise. It just creates an impression that they rely on away support.

There aren't enough people in Featherstone to support a stable $uperleague club and your comment supports that.

It knocks nothing on the head. He's been looking to run a Superleague club, IIRC he didn't pursue things at Halifax, he didn't pursue things at Cas and has chosen Fev to put a few hundred grand into.

The man wants Superleague - all the rich people do - he may actually get it at the lowest possible price, which is what he may be looking at.

Don't expect millionaires to come flying into keighley based on this modest investment.

Are Featherstone a Cc club or are they not? Have they attracted investment at this level when posters have said no CC club ever would.?

The ambition to be in SL does not change the fact that, at this time, Featherstone are a championship club attracting a rich investor.

You don't get a lot for several hundred grand. It will need at least several hundred grand every year.

When I next see Mark, Craig and Feisal I'll mention that to them Parky. Maybe they don't realise and will thank me or maybe I'll get a slapping instead.
