one of my favourites too Mark. he had a graceful running style and in full flight, seemed to just glide over the ground. brave in the tackle too. up there with Gary Cooper for me.

One of the players i remember from the 60s was asa amone but for the life of me I can't remember what nationality he was. I think he was a kiwi but like I say that's just a wild guess can anyone help me out? I know he played front row but don't know how many times he played for us.

Yeah your right gaz I meant to type 80s not 60s my mistake I wasn't even born in the 60s 😄😄

Asa Amone played for Rovers in 1998 and 1999 and he was/still is Tongan. Played some front row and back row at Fev but started out as a winger.
