Do you know who took the pic ?
Found the picture when clearing out my loft. Looking at the other photographs, it was taken around 1990! Happy days at the Roughyeds!

I'm pretty confident it's the Workington game mentioned above, I've got a photo of my own from that game and the kits match up. (It's a bit fuzzy so not really worth posting online).

Looks like the strip Otto was talking about, it's most likely to be Town if the year is right & it's a league match, Barrow had a similar strip But I think they were in Div 1 then.I'm pretty confident it's the Workington game mentioned above, I've got a photo of my own from that game and the kits match up. It certainly looks like the Workington strip that they wore in the 1989 season but I can't identify any of the players!!!! Who is the ginger haired winger? The only one I can think of is John Beattie.
I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.
