For the players it's an easy choice; do you continue playing the game you love, or go to Union which provides a better paid job, easier to play, fills stadiums during internationals, become a hero with the media and become a household name swamped be adoring fans desperate for your autograph. Be recognised Down Under and perhaps marry in to Royalty or perhaps a Page 3 Babe? Which would you prefer?

Even better, You can get fat, have pockets in your shorts, smoke, romp with your team mates during a maul with the odd crafty fondle, receive a free coliflour ear, not worry about participating in a tight defensive line as huge gaps are a part of the game, not worry about tackling your opponent hurtling towards you as speed can't happen in three paces from the ruck (you need 10 metres for that), feel as though you are the lead ballet dancer in Swan Lake as you are hoisted aloft during a line out, replace the effort of gaining a 6 pack to the ease of opening one.

All of this is yours! Sign here.

<------ The cross code forum is that way.

Although your random rant might well be better off in the bin, to be fair.

I wonder who took their ball home because they couldn't take all the corners, throw ins and penalties.
Carlsberg don't do Soldiers, but if they did, they would probably be Brits.
