Two players from Whitehaven and one Gateshead Thunder player have avoided suspension after submitting Early Guilty Pleas in relation to offences committed during their pre-season game on January 13.
Whitehaven duo Matty Palmer and David Houghton, alongside Gateshead’s Dave Sheldon, were all charged with committing Grade A punching offences during an incident that occurred in the 58th minute of the game.
All three players lose their right to submit a further Early Guilty Plea for the next 12 months.
