Don't know anything about the standard of woman's rugby (league or union), or even how the games compare to their male versions, but I'd be interested in an informed view about a player making the national squad after just 6 games.
Is she very good? Are the codes much closer in the woman's game? Is the general standard in woman's union, much higher than in woman's league? Is her dad the coach!!
In general though, players from the south who can reach the very top, especially those in positions to be a role model for others are invaluable to the sport.

I guess that process is slightly accelerated because of the relative size of the talent pool in the women's game.
