just looked on hunslet web page on this site and i noticed that when we play them the gate price is £2 cheaper than their next home game against dewsbury. even the consession price goes up. are they grading their games at different prices and is this allowed by the rl or just a typing error. 12 quid our game and 14 for the dews game. bit daft that as we all know dews are always carefull with their money.
I think you'll find that its £16 for the Featherstone visit. Some Fev fans are saying they wont be going so it could be self-defeating.
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

That's what I was saying. They have split the Championship teams in to 3 categories. Barrow, Haven and Town are all in the category C with a £12 admission fee but teams like Fev, Halifax, Leigh and York have been categorised as Category A with a £16 admission fee.

So if Barrow beat Hunslet then they will be re-catagorised to an A and us away supporters pay more to get in

It won't matter Neil as we will have already played our away game to them at the £12 admission but if we get beat can we categories them and put their admission up!! Lol

Trouble is if we put their admission price up by £2 we will only make about an extra tenner

No price increase from last season but a reduction for most of the games. --- note that Featherstone have increased their prices to £17.
--- also look on the Hunslet website for photographs and progress reports on snow clearing at South Leeds Stadium, and the frost covers have been put down.

Look out for the match day programme. The front cover is a trip down memory lane for those of you that ever visited the Greyhound Stadium when we had the "Y" shape posts (see our forum for a piccie).
You had a cracking team in that period with the world's slowest goal kicker and scrum half who made Rob Burrows look like Peter Crouch.
Best of luck for the season (after Sunday of course).

Given that these two were both playing the season can only have been 1974/75 or 1975/76 -in the latter we were 2nd Division Champions and (God forbid) we were promoted!!!
