Have I misunderstood?
I can't see that this produces a league for us???

I've got a score for the round but can't find a ladder (table) of our results???
Maybe I've set up the wrong sort of league????

A trip to the optometrist might be on the agenda for you soon. :o

This is all I can see.

Lots of teams - a full complement, but no scores assembled.
JMy page seems to suggest a head to head league that starts in R4?
That's not what I wanted.

Ladder Positions After NRL Round 1 2013

SCoachAftR12013_zps4811a9fb.jpg

Notebook After Round 1
With 20 teams in our league it looks like we're full!
That's a good blend of of regulars and new blood.
One or two who joined after the start last season are in from the beginning this season.
From what I can tell - and you can see this new format has the advantage of me - we have fewer opportunities to make big changes. I don't think there's a wild card to play and our number of ins and outs is very limited.
Anyone who has studied the system and can give advice and guidance please feel welcome to contribute here.
I know its a competitive league, but hints and tips and shared understanding would be a good thing.
Cheers,
Graham

Anyone bought the Gold package for the season, or used the free trial?

Not a bad start with over 1000 points. Not a fan of the league being filled up but am looking forward to the league table system as an extra. Havent used the free trial maybe will not really looked in to it that deeply

Ladder Positions After NRL Round 2 2013

SCoachAftR22013_zps87dd0115.jpg

Notebook After Round 2

Steven's Mighty Bulldogs have leapfrogged Peter's Yorkshire Gold to take over the top spot this week.
These two are the only teams to average over a 1000 points a week. Just 17 points separates them.
Of course it is very early days and absolutely anything can happen yet.
Daves Dynamos, Jeff's TBT and David's Thatcham Rabbitohs are in good shape all breaking the 900 point barrier this week. Well done all.
Gavin is mentioned in dispatches this week as his terrific 917 points lifted him up two places to 13.
I'll let Kev sum up his start to the season.
It's competitive in all areas of the ladder. Still so it should be at this time of season. It's all to play for!

Not sure its a good idea giving away all me secrets but what the hell, if you want to save some cash, don't get the supercoach gold package, simply google nrl supercoach talk, there's an excel spreadsheet download that gives you all the breakevens and stats breakdowns. Your players price fluctuates based on the past three performances, so while round 1 scores were important they will only impact the players price for one week only, this coming weeks results (round 3) for example will impact their price for three weeks, you'll see what i mean.

on this site Wellin also gives detailed analysis of the past matches and potential team line ups highlighting, players returning from injury etc

Been based in the UK we can't win any cash prizes so its all about H2H (head to head), the trick is to win as many games as you can to reach the top eight whist generating as much cash as you can and preserving trades so that when/if you do make the playoffs at the end of the year, you can stack your teams full of the big guns. I've done this and won the grand final 4 out of the 5 years, the only defeat been losing in the semis when g stewart got sinbinned and then sent off at the same time fighting with adam blair!.....but i'm not bitter >:-(

Another hint is to keep an eye on the rep fixtures, some players play reduced minutes following international and origin, therefore the following weeks can see big price drops and you can sometimes snap this players up at bargain prices.

good luck everyone,

If you will play with the big boys .... strike that!

Thanks for that Yorkshire Gold.
My major concern this season compared with our previous more open league competition is what appears to be a much smaller number of outs and ins.
40 isn't that many. Last year as Melbourne Rovers I used a total of 133 transfers!
This seems like an altogether different ball game so any advice or even just little discoveries as we go along needs sharing. :D

Positions after Round 3 will be posted tomorrow - it takes an extra day for the final scores to be tabulated on the Super Coach web site.
Looks like some big scores put together by our teams this week.

Ladder Positions After NRL Round 3 2013

SCoachAftR32013a_zpsc157118a.jpg

Notebook After Round 3

The general impression looking at this is how scores at the top have jumped en masse from Round 2.
Top ten total scores are also very close. To be fair scores at all points in the ladder compare very favourably with last season.
I notice Kev's Roveranout score has picked up somewhat after that little nudge last week.
Well done everyone.
Feel free to comment here, I'd hate to talk myself in circles here for want of company!

The posting of Round 4 results is likely to be a little later than usual as I won't have access to the internet in the normal way for some days next week.
Apologies mates.
I will catch up.
Feel free to contribute in the mean time.
Thanks

yes the 40 changes should be interesting later. Had to make a few changes already with injuries etc. Still hopefully no changes now for a few weeks.

I have managed to see the R4 results but don't have access to the software I use to create the images for this thread.
Round 4 was the first time we had head to head games producing another ladder. I'll keep posting the overall positions as in the traditional ladder. The other ladder makes interesting viewing though. Until I get chance to do a proper R4 posting you'll have to make do with each of us looking at our own pages. Normal service will resume as soon as possible. That's a day or two from now.

Ladder Positions After NRL Round 4 2013

SCoachAftR42013_zps7bfc90ec.jpg

Notebook After Round 4

The Round 4 ladder was still available so I have been able to post it after all!

Just two teams scored over the 1000 points total this week Gavin and his Restoftheworldvaus and Graham's Featherstone Storm.

The head to head games got underway too. Look out for it on your Super Coach page.

SCoachHdtoHdAftR42013_zps67b82007.jpg

This ladder is formed by wins and points difference.

Ladder Positions After NRL Round 5 2013

SCoachHdtoHdAftR52013_zps7ef8524f.jpg

Notebook After Round 5

Wow that was generally a high scoring round with nine teams bursting through the 1000 point barrier together with a host of other very respectable scores just below that.

Peter again mustered his troops the best, topping out our scores with 1257 points which maintains him in the number 1 spot.

The total point scores are close though and the season is just getting into its stride.

The battles all the way up and down the ladder are developing into mighty tussles. Positions are currently decided in some places by just single figures of points - David and Jeff in 7th and 8th being just 7 points apart after 5 rounds.

Similarly Ian and Steph are separated by just 3 points!

Good luck in Round 6 everyone

Head to Head League Ladder After Round 5

SCoachHdtoHdAftR52013a_zps4cd85d16.jpg

We're two games into the head to head competition.

While Peter is again topping this ladder at this stage, other positions are shuffled about a bit comparing this ladder with the ladder above it.

Head to head competitions have introduced some spice into the comp.

All comments and views welcome.

Ladder Positions After NRL Round 6 2013

Notebook After Round 6

Quite a tricky week for a lot of us with some very close games in NRL R6 the majority finishing with single figure margins of victory.

Congratulations therefore to those among us who scored over 1000 points.

Peter and Steven are now the only two of us who are currently averaging over 1000 points. That's some achievement, well done!

Special mention this week goes to Richard and his Coal Aston XIII who despite being in 12th place scored a massive 1047 points.

Head to Head League Ladder After Round 6

SCoachHdtoHdAftR62013_zpsebdadf6a.jpg

Quite a bit of shuffling about in this table. Still it is  early days here in the head to head league and one win or loss counts for a lot.

Just five of us with a 3/3 record after three HtoH rounds - well done to Steven, James,  Peter, Gavin and Simon
