When did Gary Hetherington play for Hunslet ?
Early 80's he played for us although I can't see it on any stats. I'm sure it was at Elland Road.

So I can confirm Brendan did indeed play a little with us before he left to play for Huddersfield where I played alongside him - awesome 6ft prop who got the ball out from anywhere no matter how many tacklers, made support players look world beaters. As for jimmy he never played at leeds went to fax then to batley so I recall

Going back in time we once held the world record fee when we sold Brian Shaw to Leeds in about 1960 .In them days as usual we breed,ed them and Leeds used to buy them off us but at least we got some brass off them.Other players in the sixties/seventies i can remember included Harry Poole, Alan Preece, Kenny Eyre,Peter Dunn, Geoff Nicholls, Dave Marshall and Phil Sanderson perhaps the greatest of all (so my dad used to say) was Arthur Clues the legendary Aussie around 1957.
