There are some talented players off contract, they will be snapped up fast, the English Clubs better get their scouts out early for the better ones.

Super League retirement home.
Astute analysis from a Wigan fan:
Rumour going around Headingley that Wire will have to play the second half with 12 men.
It seems that they forgot to bring the half time oranges, and Solomona ate Chris Bridge instead.
Don't know why he was hungry, as he looked as though he had eaten the whole youth team before the game started.

The Aussie $ is king now and I can't really see kurtly Beale coming to the NRL, do you think that folau was holding out for a better deal or better club hence only signing a 1 year contract with the warathas?

I think he was waiting for a better deal when the Salary Cap goes up and the Clubs are cashed up.
I also think he believes he is worth more than he is but next year he will get what he wants, he is not an organiser with the value of Thurston or a Cronk nor is he worth what an Inglis or Slater is worth.
He is a good finisher but without the talent inside him to feed off he could do very little in some teams.
No doubt a desperate Club will throw plenty at him next year.

Is Lyon still threatening a St Helens swansong?

Is Lyon still threatening a St Helens swansong?
He may want to come back to Saints to pick up his Man of Steel Trophy he left behind at his house last time he was there.
He looked like he was Titans bound last week.
I think Mr Lyon will go to any Club that offers him the most money for the longest contract possible.

Totally agree, a good finisher but having 3 years out of rugby league and looking for top $$ is a big risk. Whatever happened to karmichal hunt, is he making a go of it in the AFL?I think he was waiting for a better deal when the Salary Cap goes up and the Clubs are cashed up.

He is finally having a few good games and would be classed as a competent AFL player that is not anything special other than being very expensive, he will be the next to want to come home for the money.
