Recently I was reading a rugby magazine from 1963 and it made mention that Great Britain and France played their annual games for the Jean Galia Cup from 1962/63. I always thought only the European Championship was played for this trophy.

Anyone know anymore about this Cup? How long GB and France played for it before sponsors trophies took over?

Better still any old photos of this trophy?

While we're at it the WC should be named after the French chp who donated it

Why would you wish to rename a toilet? :) Or is Pepe le Phew the Frenchie you had in mind?
