With the deal due to be announced in the next 48 hours after some legal holdups the first signings are expected to be

Karl Pryce

Ryan McGoldrick

Martin Gleeson

Whilst not thrilled about them, they will be fine if only on 1 year deal until we can sign the players we really want.

At this stage of pre season any signings are a good sign.

I think your last line sums it up - you just need bodies and all three of these have experience at high levels.

I still think Gleeson will be a good signing.

Gleeson and McGoldrick's not bad to be fair.......would happilly see either of them in our side.....I know the latter's unpopular and a bit sketchy but he's shown at times at Cas and Hull just how dangerous he can be when he has the ball.

Hopefully we can bring a couple of experienced forwards in from somewhere. Our pack was lightweight last year, it hasn't got any better since! Will be a struggle for young Sneyd and Fages to step up to Superleague level anyway, behind a beaten pack every week they have no chance.

Good to see Hesketh speak so highly of Nashy, bit of an unsung hero who played as a kid at West Bank team in my little bro's team

Karl Pryce was absolute garbage for most of last season.

However, he played really well in his last four or five games.

Unfortunately, despite his undoubted talent, history warns you not to expect miracles.

McGoldrick confirmed and Rhys Williams signed on loan from Warington.
