Paul Atcherson is listed on Wiki as being born in St Helens, might be worth checking him out incase he was born in Billinge, as he fits the bill playing wise!

He certainly grew up in Billinge.

Think Harry Pinner went over at the end of his career but not sure he played for them I think it was as a coach.

Bringing the thread back to where it started, that is Wiganers who played for the Saints can I add Bill Bretherton and Len Mcintyre.
www.geofflee.net for news of my novels, One Winter, One Spring, One Summer and One Autumn, all written against a strong Rugby League background, set in South Lancashire and inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller".

Paul was born in Whiston Hospital, lived in Rivington Road but moved to Ashton with his mum when he was 12. Details taken from his biography "From Grass To Glass".
