New Zealand hope a State of Origin style approach to league will lead them to Test domination

New Zealand are hoping a 'State of Origin' style approach to international rugby league will result in Test football domination - and give them a stranglehold on the World Cup.

The Kiwis shocked Ricky Stuart's Kangaroos in Brisbane in 2008 to claim the showpiece event and the New Zealand Rugby League (NZRL) has hatched a plan based on Origin-style preparation camps to rule rugby league at the Test level.

steve McNamara brought in "origin-style" camp into the england program a couple of years ago after visiting mal meninga & the QLD set up

Kiwis are already the best team in the world. The ozzies call them the World Cup champs because they can't accept it. This has no relevance to the subject, I just wanted to add that oz are not the champion team in the world until , at least after the World Cup :)

Maybe the Kiwis should have beaten Australia in the last 9 or 10 games they have played the Kangaroos since 2008 in that case? ;)

On their day they can do really well, never seem to play well in the UK.
Their day is not often enough, although they have done pretty well in picking their day to turn up :)
