Holden has snatched NRL rugby league sponsorship from Toyota - giving it naming rights to the State of Origin series, the Kangaroos and the U20s competition.
The three-year multi-million-dollar deal is Holden’s first football sponsorship in 15 years and believed to be worth more than twice as much as the car maker spends on V8 Supercars.

But Holden are only sponsoring the U20's three SOO matches and a handful of Test matches.
Toyota are the Major sponsor of the AFL.
Telstra is the Major Sponsor of the NRL.

Ah, I think I misread then. If it's just those then it looks a good deal.

Good to see so much money flowing in to the Aussie game but lets just hope its spent wisely and that bush and development areas get to see the cash and not just the NRL Clubs and Players.

the players have already secured a vast majority of the increase in tv money with the huge increase in salary cap..
