Good performances all round, a highly entertaining game, and a good marker laid down.

We out played them in every department today and I think that's the first time I've ever seen penky being well and truly put in his place. I didn't even know he was on the field. If we play like that every week we will take some stopping no doubt about that. We have got to have the best pack in this league by a country mile they were just awesome again today like they were in the friendlies. I haven't seen as good of a pack at Fev for a long time. Also our pack must be good because I didn't miss dickens today and he as been one of our best forwards for a long time. So that to me shows how good of a pack we have. Also our backs were quick and had plenty of flair about them I know its early but I think this could be our best squad since DP arrived.

Wow, what a performance Unblemished, apart from the odd mistake. I am afraid that Penky, Beswick. and Littler were made to look well below average players. Liams in play kicking was a superb facet of our play, a play that has been missing, IMO.
Crossley is going to cause some damage this season. His enthusiasm and work rate was outstanding today, as was every player who wore a blue shirt.
Thought the ref had a decent game. Missed a"few" forward passes, but missed little else.

1st equal : Bossy & Tommy Hodson for the most impressive debut in years.
3rd. Crossley, another impressive debut.
I think we need another 2nd rower as back-up, because Bossy's a prop now! He was also my MOM at Cas.

Hodson for me as number 1. Very quick off the mark, excellent pace and good finishing. Also a very sound tackler. 2. All front row all 4 of them. 3. Hardman for his resiliance, has the making of a hard centre.

1, The whole front row, steamrollered Leigh today. 2, Ellis, Speed at the ruck killed them. 3, Hardman, looked really good at centre

Thought hard an was awesome in the centres, Hudson going to get a bucket full this year and looks like he can cover full back maybe a good position for him?
Lockwood look great he looks stronger / bigger upper body this season.
Really enjoyed the game and we seem to have that X factor that was missing last season. Early days though but we couldn't have hoped for a better start.
Littler should try con concentrate on playing instead of cheating and refing shame because he has a lot of talent.

I think the past tense is more appropriate nowadays Chris. These days he's a pale shadow of his former self.Littler should try con concentrate on playing instead of cheating and refing shame because he has a lot of talent.

Agree with this comment, but the whole team deserve credit for an excellent start to the season.
