Long before the season started I was very pleased with the '60s Championship anniversary jerseys whether as fans' replicas or the real thing worn by the players on the field.
In fact, I thought the blue with white V jerseys worn at today's game looked far better than I had hoped - EXCEPT for one thing, which, for me, took the icing off the cake, so to speak.
Why oh! why did they have to turn out in BLUE shorts instead of the white ones?. I know they'll almost certainly don the white ones when they're wearing the (away) change strip of white jerseys with a blue V.
Come on club, ditch the blue shorts and use the far more appropriate white ones instead - give us a bit more of the déjà vu feeling, please.
How smart the Lions looked in their retro '60s jerseys today, BUT

Got to agree there - The shirts look fantastic but it should be white shorts all the way. No preference on socks but definitely white shorts.
Maybe they take too long to get the grass stains out?
