Yes, but, in a coalition, either Labour or Tory would need to "look after" the Libdem MP's. Let's face it, it was only the minnows from all three parties that were prosecuted over the expenses scandal.
I seem to recall that Huhne stood against Clegg for the Libdem leadership.

Surely not the same Tony Blair who now has his own foundation that negotiates deals in the Middle East, earns millions and pays a relatively small amount of tax?
This could also earn him a bad reputation with the British population. However, that could never happen whilst he is married to the really cute altruistic Cherie ... the public will always love her.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

This offence happened ten years ago.
Is it a civil offence and, if so, is there a statute of limitation that sets a time limit on how long, following the offence, a prosecution can be brought?

Quick google: England & Wales law has no statute of limitations. Specific Acts may have limitations but there's no universal statute.

The daft thing is, had he just admitted it the original offence at the time he'd have been banned for a while and have been back on the road long, long ago.
