Just to clarify, a pitch inspection is taking place today, to look at a couple of areas of the pitch where new turf has been laid. The areas under inspection have recently been levelled with turf being laid on top - but with the weather etc, the turf has not had much time to bed in. Further work is being carried out on the pitch today and everything is being done to get the pitch ready for Sunday. It is hoped the inspection will confirm that the pitch will be ok.

The rest of the work, grandstand seats and general stadium work is well on course.

Some general stadium tidying and preparation will still need to be carried out over the weekend, and the club will put out requests for volunteers via twitter, Facebook and this forum as and when we need people.

All hands to the pump....!!
