Great stuff . So much fantastic work done by so many people , and the BOD can be proud of their guardianship of the club as they've took our historic ground to a new era . We'll all be proud townies on Sunday , and what a fitting game to christen new Derwent Park !

The club is asking for volunteers to report to the ground on Sunday morning. I think it was 9.30am or 10am.
Ring the club on 01900 603609 for more info.

I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.
