The NRL faces scandal and has apparently lost around $100million due to the recent events surrounding performance enhancing drugs and the players.
Lets be frank, players at Dewsbury probably dream of bigger things and see our club as a launch pad (or hope it will be one) What are peoples thoughts on not just performance enhancing drugs, but what about stimulants? Ephedrine for example.
Is our sport riddled with cheats? Or are they even cheats?

I wouldn't say that RL is riddled with cheats, not at Professional level anyway. There is plenty at Amateur level but they dont get tested.l. There will be a few in SL and the Championships but there playing with fire taking a chance on getting drugs tested

I have heard that rugby league is one of the most often drug tested sports and to be honest I'm surprised that more players aren't caught out, when you see how thick the book is on banned substances, it's ridiculous that some cough syrups might have a banned substances in them even ear drops and a lot more every day medicines so are you cheating or just unfortunate that something that you have taken innocently happens to contain what could class you as a cheat and get you a lengthy ban. I should imagine that you will get the odd player abusing the rules but when you are playing at championship level or super league is it worth losing some or all of your income and be classed as a cheat for life I'd have thought that Gareth Hock for example in a lot of people's eyes should never of been allowed to play again.
