Probably shows the reality of where international RL is with a second string Souths side winning well. But PNG can call on a few guys based in England and Australia for the World Cup so they can step it up a notch or two.
Can't wait for my first look at the Kumuls at Craven Park!

Predictions for the future -
Crusaders RL to get a franchise for 2012 onwards -WRONG
Widnes Vikings also to get a franchise - RIGHT
Crusaders RL to do the double over Widnes and finish five places ahead of them -WRONG
Widnes Vikings NOT to dominate rugby league in years to come! STILL TO COME

I promise to pay 10 to the charity of Bomb Jacks choice if Widnes Millionaires finish above the battling underdogs Crusaders RL. I OWE A TENNER!

From reading that, it looks as though the game was pretty level until the final quarter, where the full-timers ran away with it as would be expected.

This wasn't a national side, it was a PNG Select XIII made up of upcoming players from the domestic competition. Ignorant journalism as usual from the Aussies.

They've been billed elsewhere as a PNG Residents side. I can't find a report with the PNG full side listed but it was supposed to be the same guys who gave the Aussie PM's XIII a fright last year and the names in various articles kicking round seem to confirm that.
