Quite so. Just remembered..does the nhs still have the arrangement where road accident victims get charged for the ambulance/s and e? Wasn't it sbout £35?

I wasn't charged when I was knocked down in 2010.

I've twice had the experience of being billed for an ambulance, and also for clearing up the the road, following accidents I didn't cause.
I politely declined to pay.

After last night, I'm in two minds. I was really looking forward to watching Salford follow up last week's heroics with a second victory and I set off in high spirits at 5:15pm. I turned round at Brighouse at 7:30pm and headed back home, picking up some beer en route. I tuned in to Radio Manchester at half-time and listened to a pathetic, uninspired second-half performance from Salford while quaffing my ale.

So, I was spared the misfortune of witnessing that shameful performance while standing in the cold and, instead, I enjoyed good beer in the warmth of my own home and still kept in touch with the game (sic).

I guess that every cloud has a silver lining. Maybe the M62 closure was not such a bad thing for me.
