How on earth juniors can develop any core skills on a day like today is anyone's guess.
Raising money for Prostate Cancer UK - ran the Spire 10 mile in August and the Worksop Half Marathon in October - more to come in 2013

i've been out today and frankly it's horrible. Some of our lads have been playing winter and they and their parents can't wait for the summer season.

Stop talking sense Tim2 - you're supposed to be double over in laughter at Marauders amusing comment.

I went to the warm Hilton Hotel, Leeds today to watch the son-in-law fight (Thai) it cost me £50.00 in total, it worked out to about £1 per second.

Strangely the other code has many times the number of players who love to play in the winter, I wonder if their kids are just tougher.

Wonder if they would have even more if they played in the summer. LOL You should go watch a NCL game in the warm summer months £2.50 that works out about 3p per Minute far better value.Strangely the other code has many times the number of players who love to play in the winter, I wonder if their kids are just tougher.

I do go and watch games in the summer and I suppose it was worth watching the son-in-law knock his opponent out in 50 seconds.Wonder if they would have even more if they played in the summer. LOL You should go watch a NCL game in the warm summer months £2.50 that works out about 0.3 of a penny per Minute far better value.

You must be joking, did rugby league survive around 100 years in the winter without anyone enjoying the sport.Popped out to watch an U17s match today. Freezing and rain slating down. Players slipping and sliding. Credit to the players for sticking with it, but it wasn't much fun for anyone really.
