First "home" game of the season to be played in Hull! A link-up is fine, I'm happy with the general idea, but this is just mental.

Parky's dream of a Hull merger come true?
Astute analysis from a Wigan fan:
Rumour going around Headingley that Wire will have to play the second half with 12 men.
It seems that they forgot to bring the half time oranges, and Solomona ate Chris Bridge instead.
Don't know why he was hungry, as he looked as though he had eaten the whole youth team before the game started.

I actually think the word 'farce' could be applied here without penalty.
Cheer up, RL is actually rather good

On 13/2/2013, Hull City's owners the Allams, released a statement in their position as the owners of the KC Stadium Management Committee. One line in this statement read as follows....
"The SMC's principal responsibility is to remain neutral"

That is a massive round trip to make just for a league game. The RFL stun me. They are forcing a Championship 1 team to make a stupid trip like that which will cost a fortune because they have some notion of a standard for a stadium? What is it supposed to be? Gold plated? There must be useable stadia around Gateshead for heaven's sake. Ludicrous!http://www.thunderru...le.php?id=10518

But at least Thunder have a partner. I was getting worried that they would be left out in the cold. I think there is only North Wales Crusaders in Champ 1 now without a partner isn't there?

I don't understand the thinking behind it, but I'll be supporting Gateshead's 'home' game at Craven Park nevertheless.

At least its not York. They could have fit their season ticket holders in a Reliant Robin!
