thunder's 1st home game of the season in the northern rail cup on sunday march 10th 3pm kick off will now be played at hull kr's craven park stadium. cmon thunder!!

Its 224.5 km away from Gatehead to Hull, equating to 2hrs15mins drive time for 'home fans' (not that theres many mind). Hardly a home game at all really,

GIS is unavailable and they couldn't get a stadium locally that met RFL standards.

oracle yes not many of us though winning 2 games in 3 seasons we wouldnt get thousands would we? we love our club.

Quick Google map check suggests Gateshead to Hull is about 10-15 miles shorter than Wrexham to Hull.

Isn't there an empty stadium in Darlington that would be more amenable for Gateshead fans?
