Briefly saw some pictures of the tomb for Richard III on the news this morning, but I'm sure they had the rose on upside down.

It looked like the Lancashire rose with 1 petal at the top rather than the Yorkshire version with 2 at the top.

Was I seeing things?

Mind even Yorkshire folk get it wrong, I was down in East Yorkshire before Christmas, and noticed the council's logo is upside-down too:

Just checked Google Images. Both arrangements are on view.

I've got it included in my company logo on clothing ...
- original supplier: Two petals at the top
- latest supplier; One petal at the top.

I was always taught the Lancashire rose was red and the other one was white. I never realised there was the possibility of either being upside down. Can't see how it matters, really. It's the colour that counts.
