And a home win would possibly put us in pole position for the mythical promotion spot, given we have already won the NRC
Are Fev fans happy with this?

I went for England Knights vs France in 2011 with a clutch of TRL-ers, once was enough...

So both the Grand Final and the NRC Final could possibly be at non-neutral grounds? Doesn't sound like a brilliant idea to me.
I think the RFL had it right when they went for Blackpool and Leeds.

LSV is a fine stadium, best in our competition.
It will be a great location for the finals day, as long as Leigh don't get there and get home advantage.
As I said on the NRC thread, I'm all for keeping the cash in the game, but why couldn't we have a smallish, neutral SL ground for this and the NRC. One in Yorkshire, the other on the rainy side of the hill.

Great on site parking much better than HJ and Widnes, and I am sure Pennington Country Park next door will be used for extra parking, train station is 3 miles away though but would be easy to put shuttles on if needed. 200 coaches and 2000 cars easily catered for imo within 300m of the ground
What could be great about this event is if the sponsors open up some entertainment tents on the nearby land in the country park 2/300 yards walk away or at Leigh harriers at the side of the stadium.
22 corporate boxes, plus 5/600 diners is very adequate for great income for the comp.

I don't get that you only have to tick a box. It doesn't matter how many trophy's you win or how many league titles you win as Widnes are a prime example. If that did make a difference our league leaders shield cabinet and GF trophy would put us way ahead of the opposition. As for the finals does it matter where its at really? You and fax get an advantage if you get their but that's about it. We will still be playing each other next season anyway.

By all accounts there was standing room only on the train to Warrington last year!
Can't quantify into actual numbers tho

I work in Warrington with a mixture of wire, pies, saints, salford and even a few mutants thrown in. Out of about 50 who actually watch their respective teams NOT a single one of them travels by train!.. ....strange I know, going by the 1000s who go by rail on here, not a dig at you robin, who I've always thought as a very sincere bloke.

the city of salford stadium would have been the best choice, smack on the motorway links and a good public transport set up...........

I think the championship clubs have decided to utilise venues within their leagues, although I stand to be corrected.
