Not only have Halifax got the Northern rail cup final to host this year moving from Bloomfield road and losing a day out.......

but now..............

The championships final day will be held at the LSV it has been confirmed.

I'll leave you now to talk about these decisions amongst yourselves, Glad fax have a Final in town but will sadly miss the day out in blackpool and now the Halliwell jones final too.

I will miss Blackpool but I won't miss the halliwell jones stadium. But to be honest it doesn't really matter where these cup finals are played because if you win them it doesn't mean anything really were still stuck with each other the following season. Also to be honest if you win both of them it won't even cover our salary cap I bet. Which IMO what is the point in having a salary cap if you can't win it back?

they couldnt devalue these finals any more if they tried..ok the clubs voted for this but i'd like to know what,if anything other than financial, the alternatives were and i'll be asking the fev CEO .if other Champs feel free to share it here!!

Dont understand taking it away from HJ... I know they moved from Blackpool to keep money in RL, what reason was given to take it away from RL club Warrington RL and their solely owned RL ground HJ Stadium?

If the game is so skint after spending all the money on Bulls and London then let's move the Challenge Cup from Wembley to Odsal or Wigans ground, what's good for us should be good enough for SL and stop bailing out badly managed clubs.

It does seem like theyre making cuts to our league to prop up Super League spending.

Trying to put a positive spin on this...Leigh's pitch is a Desso Grassmaster, which in theory should be better able to cope with the demands of potentially heavy rain that is rather too familiar to us all in late-September finals. This is the same surface that they held the Ukraine-France Euro 2012 game - that was the game where a massive thunderstorm caused the game to be stopped just after it had started, yet they restarted an hour later and the pitch was in fantastic condition. Purely from a pitch point of view (and nothing else), it might turn out to be a good choice for a late-September final (especially if we get there!).

I think Leigh also have 4 changing rooms which is needed for three games one after the other.
