I see Luke Patten has been appointed as a video ref in OZ, do players know enough about the rules to rule on tries?
Do we have any ex players here worth appointing?

Good idea
Phil clarke at for Wigan games
Neil Holding for saints games
Stevo for Leeds
Wiggy Hemmings for Wire games
Let's face it these couldn't be any worse or apparently biased than we currently think

More ex-players out in the middle, it's not like there aren't enough wannabe refs dictating already.

I'd like to see Stevie Nash given the gig.
He'd do much better than Stevie Wonder, who seems to have been in the chair recently.

They have also appointed Justin Morgan as video ref too! Didn't he used to have a weekly moan about something a ref/video ref had missed? God help him if he messes up

I'd love to see Wellens become a ref when he retires.
