That'll fit right into the FI scene: Monaco, Abu Dhabi, Melbourne, Ebbw Vale.

Really good transport links though ... unlike Silverstone.
Besides, the British round of the World Rally Championship is always in Wales.
It's just a pity that I've no interest in motorsport.

Looks like the MotoGP head honcho is supporting this. I wouldn't mind seeing another Motorcycle Grand Prix in the UK.

I remember the other year they wanted a Grand Prix around the streets of London. That didn't happen either. Unless you're a cabbie obviously.

I doubt this Welsh circuit is aiming for a place on the F1 calendar. That appears to be gravitating increasingly towards the Middle and Far East.

That was an Ecclestone publicity stunt (or a Mosley one, I forget).
