He missed for England against wales an France at end of last season so he only has goals since then and not the ones from the end of the regular season

You mean Sinfield - as opposed to Finn .... just for clarity's sake ?

Finny ended his run with a miss for Ireland so if we're just counting club games, his record is longer, but I don't know what it would be.

Liam missed his first goal kick after kicking 41 on the 16th June 2012 whilst playing for Ireland, one Mr Pat Richards wasn't playing that day, otherwise he may have been kicking the goals.

Yeah, the record is 41 and is held by Finn. Sinfield hasn't got anywhere near the record yet, because he missed for England at the end of last season.

Watched it on Sky. Leeds has two chances of running the ball near their opponents line. As skipper he elected to kick two penalties. His next one was from the touchline and he missed. So Finn still has the world record.

I love it when new 'records' are invented just for commentators to drone on about. There was no such thing as the 'club record' until Friday night, but lets get all excited cos Sir Kevin's not counting all those kicks he missed for England. Kicks two early pens he should've run then misses anyway and Eddie sounds like a three year old who's dropped his icecream before all his mates chip in with 'ah well, it doesn't matter anyway'. Really? Why c rap on about it all match then?

Viva Liam Finn!

Appearances, tries, goals, points - that's what matters.

It's impossible to prove that 41 is an all-time record anyway. Who was counting misses back in 1910?

I remember a few years back when Barry Eaton (Keighley) got this record and they would'nt give him it due to him not doing it in top flight Rugby , the guy who held the record was a Australian/Lebanese International..........Hazem El Masri
