Rugby League must be a great game to survive the fools at the RFL who run it.

Still don't get having Coyle and Gore on the bench but there you go .

Coyle looked like he hadn't trained for 12 months when he ran up the touch line last week

Aye lotta making up to do physically . The lads got talent you can see it in there , and a shrewd rugby brain , so hopefully Johnson gets him up to speed and we see his body letting him show if more fully . If that Kavanagh was available may have had him on the bench with Shacks n Coward out , but they know the craic .

We have to give the lad a chance, the only way he's gonna get match fit is by playing matches.
Because its a wide pitch is prob the reason why both gore and coyle are included on the bench. We look pretty strong so time for a bit of payback!!!!

The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet!

Even without Playing you can be fitter than that. Look at Acton. He hasn't played this season but still looks very fit

Yeh they saw last season that the key to getting on top of this big Donny side is to speed up the ruck and sweep forward at pace - we saw it here , and we saw it in the last 30 on telly when they were chasing shadows . So Gore and Phillips have huge roles today , with your halves to , so their probably looking at selection with a style of play in mind . Get things sped up n get scooting at them !! Fax were awesome at slowing us down and it blunted our threat .

Looking very fit and being match fit are 2 very different things.

Not quite as hopeful as i was now. Fingers are gonna be sore from being crossed so firmly. Thought Kris C would've been in the team

Yes, I would have liked to have seen KC in the squad today. We have several players in there that can play in different positions though.
I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

hes been dropped apparantly. calling an player out of retirement only 3 games in is very poor. surely we have better options. and thats no disrespect to gus as he gives 100% but we should be better prepared than this.

What is going on? It's very unprofessional and doesn't inspire the fans when you get last minute changes like this. Come on Town get it together!!!
