Is anyone else baffled by theRFLs decision to move the final from Blackpool to Halifax? Surely part of te attraction for us fans was a day/weekend away at the seaside as well as competing in a cup final.Also with Halifax being amongst the favourites for the competition it's not inconceivable that they could have home advantage in the final.

I also read somewhere that the playoff finals are at Leigh this year. I cant see how this can be justified.

....NRC Final at The Shay on Saturday 20th and we're then away at Workington on the Sunday....2 away matches in 2 days!!!Is anyone else baffled by theRFLs decision to move the final from Blackpool to Halifax? Daryl Powell's verdict: "There are some pretty weird things going on in the Championship at the moment and they are not strengthening the competition or its integrity".

Fax could win the NR Cup without playing a single game away from the Shay this year!!!!!
