2005 was the last time Swinton defeated Keighley at Cougar Park

Was I right then Riggy? 30-12 Wayno hat-trick? I know he got at least one as he did a forward roll right under the sticks. Also seem to remember a Mick Coates try, but that may have been in a loss around the same time.
Also, if anyone was questioning the commitment and passion in our squad, then those questions were answered yesterday. The lads got right behind each other after every mistake made and every mistake enforced on Keighley. With Chaz possibly back for next week we're only going to get better!

Yes Bryce you were correct.
And yes the commitment and passion was there last night even in the dressing room after the game us press guys were treated to the Swinton team song followed by the Warrington team song it's the first time they have done that all season so lets hope for a repeat next week.

Great performance tonight. I will post the match report tomorrow.
As usual an excellent match report served up by Riggy.
But (oh dear 'ere we go again) Riggy, your Lions team got the threequarters line-up the wrong way round because it was Ainscough and Penny who shared the left flank and not the right as in the report.
5.Kevin Penny
3.Martin Ainscough
17.Ryan Shaw
22.Gene Ormsby
should be,
Right wing threequarter 22. Gene Ormsby
Right centre threequarter 17. Ryan Shaw
Left centre threequarter 3. Martin Ainscough
Left wing threequarter 5. Kevin Penny

I don't care who lined up where.
The official team sheet posted on the dressing room door and held by the rfl officlals had it as i have it listed
5.Kevin Penny
3.Martin Ainscough
17.Ryan Shaw
22.Gene Ormsby
It has nothing to do with me who plays where i just use the OFFICIAL RFL TEAMSHEET to list my teams.
What the hell we won anyway so why are you being picky ?

Perhaps they were confused whether the venue was Cougar Park or the KC Stadium. Easy mistake to make.
Rugby League - great game, shame about the administration.

I thought Steve Ganson was a Superleague ref.......so how come we had two tries ruled out for forward passes??? They must have been passes Joe Montana would have been proud of!

OK that explains it. However, if it had been me I'd have told the RFL 'official' wallahs that theirs was wrong and listed the team as it was in REALITY.
Anyway, like you said, the main thing was, the Lions won in great style.

I've defended your right to an opinion in the past Phil but that is just tedious!
I suggest you stick to what you know, comedy won't pay your bills!

Don't let them take your joy Mark! Great result, let's hope it's the springboard they needed. Well done.
Now I'm definitely out of hereí ½í¸œ
