I saw that episode of Touchline. It provided a really interesting insight.

I remember Stu Cummings doing a talk, followed by a Q & A session, for the late Independent Supporters Association at Odsal a few years back (First question: does Russell Smith know the rules?) and he was a charming bloke who won a lot of friends to be honest. I know we've all got grumbles about the ref (any, and all of 'em), but we're fans and it goes with the job description I guess, but I for one wish Stuart well, and hope he doesn't become lost to the game.

Maybe the RFL will follow the lead of the NRL and appoint a former coach to the role?
Was reading this morning about Nobby working for Wasps, IMO he needs to be kept in RL maybe something he could do?

The other person is Jon Sharp, former Huddersfield, Hull, Crusaders and GB coach.

Ye gods, how did the post wedding evening party go on?He's recently gotten married and so perhaps he is showing signs of being a new settled down Ganson.
"I don't see what all the fuss is about. I mean, it's only fair after last year isn't it? Look Neil, just for you, I've put my best Rovers' tie on today in the hope it'll go some way to make up for it. Oh, by the way, Jon sends his regards."

Right. Not that the embelishment impresses me but clearly you felt the need to make some kind of point. I simply couldn't remember who it was and couldn't be bothered looking. The other person is Jon Sharp, former Huddersfield, Hull, Crusaders and GB coach.

Embellishment? I was just saying who got the job. Nothing more.

Let him go... seriously, wont miss him one bit. Hope it takes too much time so they have to get an analyst in his place on Prem Sports.
Cummins Out.

Won't be missed at all. He was a reasonable ref in himself but has done a poor job as controller.

Best decision he has made in donkeys years
Rugby Union the only game in the world were the spectatotrs handle the ball more than the players.

It'll be interesting to be in the coaches meeting with him, he'll keep sending the meeting back 10 minutes each time they ask him a question.
Only after a team warning

Won't the new controller of refs be Sam Tomkins, he seems to have been getting some practice in.
