like i said, the player himself chose widnes above any other team, how hard is that to comprehend!!

Yes he did choose Widnes after he found out he could not go to Leeds, Wire or anyone decent in this country. He wanted to go to Oz but they wouldn't pay the fee, so he went were is mate is (Brown).

At the end of the season Widnes may offer him a deal of say £130k per year, Salford offer £170k where do you think he will go?

If he gets a decent offer from Parramata he'll show Widnes a clean pair of eels pretty sharpish I'd guess.

Hope Hock doesn't sign for Salford.

Widnes seem happy with him so good luck to them

Hock will go to aus, he tried this year n burnt his bridges at wigan but things dint work out so he needed a club close to home to keep him playing and he will try again next year to go to aus, hes just using widnes until aus is sorted out.

Widnes may have paid Wigan for the loan until the end of the season but after that its a "highest bidder wins" scenario, and with Salfords new found riches that will sway Wigan and certainly Hock

I seem to recall both Hock and Betts saying that under the terms if the loan deal they are allowed to talk to him/Wigan about making a perminant signing in July rather than having to wait for the September deadline like everyone else - so if Widnes get the deal sown up early then it doesn't matter how much others offers.

I do think he'll be off to Aus though.
