I'm sure the club itself has a full list of all players to have represented our club.

Joe Holliday's Book, "Workington Town RLFC, A Fifty years history 1945 - 1995" has all the details up to 1995 but I don't know where you would find them since 1995.

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

The 93/94 season it seemed everyone who played for town in the backs had like 20 plus tries each

I'd be surprised if we see anyone play 274 games let alone score 274 tries.

Wasn't Ike the first player to score 300 tries and 300 goals (in a career not just for Town)?

Ike's 274 tries will never be beaten, players don't stay a one club for 12-15 seasons now.

Lewty scored 84 tries in his 5 seasons with us, and his highest in 1 season was 31. So he's nearly up there with the top 10.

Any stattos care to comment, here's my guess.
Mulligan 21
Drummond 18
Kay 15
Burns 14
Cocker 35
Kitchin 10
Marwood 12

Can't 100 percent remember who played 6 between kitchin or Byrne but will stick with a guess of 10.

What a backline

And oggy won the div 2 man of steel award, probably the last Cumbrian to do so by my guess.

Thought buck scored more tries than that mind you, must have been the season before that
