First indoor Euro medal,
Never seen a Pole vault jump off for a medal before.
Very odd Italian in the long jump, half a beard half clean shaven !!!!!

Is that 'pole vault' as in the athletic discipline or 'Pole vault' ie someone from Poland vaulting!

We managed 3 more Gold today, but only just. Good 1st & 2nd in the womens 400m, the the 4x400m womens set a new British & Championship record, then straight after that the Mens 4x400m won Gold, then were disqualified because the Poles pushed GB into the infield, we appealed and were reinstated.
We finished 3rd overall

An excellent weekend's action, especially as there was a GB presence in every single women's final. Perri Shakes-Drayton especially looks in awesome form, so let's hope she hasn't peaked too early in the season.

"What happens in rugby union? A player takes the ball, moves forward a little and gets tackled. A whole load of players then roll about on the ground. Pheep! The referee gives a penalty." - Simon Barnes

She certainly does!
