Just to confirm that the annual BISSA Race Night will be taking place on Friday 12th April, in the Vice-Presidents Lounge at Mount Pleasant.

The evening will start at 7.30pm and conclude around 11pm , dependent on the number of races. Admission prices will be £4 for Adults, with free entry for any one child (under 16) attending with an adult. There will be a charge of £1 each for any additional Children. Entry will also be £1 for Concessions. A full bar will be available with free Pie and Peas on entry, or alternatively Hot Dogs for the younger generation. There will also be a Vegetarian option on offer.

Furthermore, there will be a magician in attendance to provide entertainment for both the younger and older generations.

The evening is open to everyone (not just BISSA members!), and should be as enjoyable as always.

At this stage we are looking at holding 7 races, but this is dependent on finding sponsors. The cost of sponsoring each Race is £30, and sponsors names will be published on the Race itinerary available on the evening.

We are also looking for a Sponsor for the Winner’s Enclosure and one for the evening as a whole. Each would cost £50, with again the individual names of the sponsors listed on the aforementioned pamphlet.

All monies will go towards the cost of running the evening, with profits then going towards the BISSA Squad-Builders Association, for use both during the current season and looking forward for 2014.

The fantastic and continued support of BISSA’s members has allowed the Committee to help the club to fund the signing of numerous players in 2013, including the likes of John Davies, Alex Rowe, Greg Johnson and Ayden Faal, and has proved invaluable in helping to create an atmosphere of positivity both on and off the field for the current season.

We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible for what should be a really good night, as always.

yeah quite a few were puzzled at that- perhaps the damage was done by the prestigous volvo convertible carrying rod greaves and his 10k round the pitch many moons back has finally shown itself!

Yep it's pay on the door. Chance for people to see the newly re-furbished VP lounge, seats and tables for 90 people. Will be a good night.

Had a good night last night although we had to leave before the last race to get my little boy to bed. We made the mistake of letting him have still vimto and he turned into the duracell bunny. Hope BISSA raised a good amount. They did a great job especially Colin.
