Tony Rea was pleased to see Londoner Tony Clubb return to the field in the 38-4 win over Salford City Reds on Friday night.
Kieran Dixon and Chris Bailey bagged try braces as London scored seven tries to one to secure their first win of the Super League season in style.
Clubb was a late change to the Broncos 19-man squad, in place of Chad Randall, and recently played for partner club London Skolars following a return to fitness due to a virus which kept him out of the pre-season friendly games and the start of the Super League season.
“Tony is a really strong part of what we are trying to do in London,” said Rea after the win over Salford. "He is a terrific footballer and a dominant character in the middle. It was a really late call to put him in tonight and it took a really big effort on his part, but he threw his hand up to play and that says a lot about him as a player.”
Rea was also pleased with the attitude show by his players saying: “We have talent across the field and for us it is about focusing as a team and playing as a team. We have to stick close through the good times as well as the bad times.
“On both sides of the ball I thought we were excellent - we kept the team spirit alive and strong."
