I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

No way! that can't be right can it? Surely they wouldn't spend all that money to bring a guy that old over would they? I know Gene played on a while but he is one of a kind.
After Harold and SJP I hope they are not expecting a Willie Mason. I wonder if he has had a new haircut recently??

Cold and wet weather does play havoc with old folk you know Wonky!
We will have to be careful as our mate H4E will be reporting us to his forum chums on the dark side site if we carry on. I saw last night that somebody was posting links about our potential new signing on there. They must have done a bit of digging to bring up old news stories from Oz newspapers to get some dirt.
