Does anyone else think that the RFL have balls up last week and this ? Town and Haven should have been looking at good gates this weekend Town playing a derby and Haven playing the top side in the league,I know a lot of fans that would have attended both these games but what do they do hey presto their on the same day!! then to top it off, we are both sent to sunny Yorkshire this week to York and Hunslet, well done chaps great thinking

And guess what, it happens again on 26th May!!!!!!

Whitehaven v Barrow 3pm
Town v Doncaster 3pm

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

Its mad, Haven would be looking for a good gate against barra and I for one would have looked through if Town had been away, its got to affect both clubs attendances, will be interesting to see.
